'New Era' - The Peasants are coming!  (22/08/09)

Soon to join our ‘New Era’ 100 Years War range is a collection of armed peasants, as hostile a mob as you’ll ever come across!

At the same time a collection of camp followers will be added to the ‘New Era' Camp and Baggage range. The range will not only include people and animals ,but also accessories such as camp fires and a spit roasting hog. I’m salivating already!

'New Era' Camps – Update (21/07/09)

As part of our Donnington 'New Era' Camp and Baggage collection (Camp and Baggage), we've created some models and figures for baggage camps.

Now available:

Blacksmith Basic Set (CB07) - shelter, table, anvil and block, fire and bellows, pile of charcoal, quench bath, basket, bucket, tools, smithy and assistant, bellows operator and various tools

The basic set can be enhanced with the following sets:

Farrier extension set (CB08) - horse, horse holder and farrier

Armourer extension set (CB09) - Weapons rack, assortment of weapons, assortment of helmets, man polishing sword

Baggage set (CB10) - a collection of crates, sacks and barrels

Also released this month is our Baggage Camel (CB11).  The camel comes with a handler dressed in long robes and headdress and a selection of baggage to fix to the camel.

Coming soon is a collection of 2 and 4 wheeled wagons. These will be followed by a medieval pavilion and a number of accessories to go with it, including a knight mounting his horse, camp followers and camp fire.

Baggage Horses - They're here! (24/06/09)

As part of our Donnington 'New Era' collection,  we've created some baggage horses and handlers. These are really different to anything else that is currently available.

There are two basic horses, one with a frame and basic baggage bundle over the saddle and the other with a pair of large wicker panniers over the saddle. Each horse comes with a set of equipment/stowage to enable the modeller to build the horse to whatever configuration is required. This includes a selection of different tops for the pannier baskets and the following:

General items (can be used for any period) - kit/blanket roll, bunch of salamis (yes sausages!), wine skin, tools (spade, pick and mattock), 'loaves of bread' pannier top

Ancient period items- spears bundle, shields, amphorae and cheese pannier top

Medieval period items- lance bundle, pole arm bundle, shields, small barrels, jugs and flagons pannier top

We are very pleased to announce the arrival of Donnington 'New Era',  a new collection of high quality figure ranges for the connoisseur.

The first ranges to be released are from the Medieval Europe era and are available now:

• Medieval Swiss

The innovative 'New Era' figures have been crafted to be highly detailed with anatomically correct proportions and animated poses.

We know you are going to enjoy these new and exciting figures.

Our well known traditional figure ranges remain available but have have been collected together and re-branded as Donnington 'Originals'.

Don't forget to check out the equipment we have created to support the 'New Era' ranges. It includes pavises, stakes, bunches of arrows, loose weapons, shields and lance vamplates (EQ01 - EQ28)
